Add users and your accountant
Invite people to your organization, understand the five roles, and give your accountant their own login without paying per seat.
Every Spheyas plan includes unlimited users, so everyone who touches your books can have their own login — including your accountant. Adding someone takes a minute.
Invite a user
- Open Users under Settings.
- Choose Invite User.
- Enter the person's email address. They must already have a Spheyas account on the platform — if not, ask them to create one first, then invite.
- Pick a role and press Invite.
The invitation takes effect immediately: the person can open your organization the next time they log in. No email exchange or verification step happens in between.
The five roles
From most limited to most powerful:
- Read Only — the most limited role, built for viewing.
- Invoice Only — limited access built around invoicing.
- Standard — the default for team members.
- Adviser — the external accountant role; counts as an admin role.
- Owner — the top role: assigns roles and invites others.
Adviser is the one to give your accountant. They get their own login, their own activity trail, and the same books you see — without a per-seat fee.
What only the owner can do
Admin roles — Owner and Adviser — can only be assigned by the owner. The last owner cannot be demoted; if ownership should move, transfer it first, and the previous owner becomes a Standard user.
