Attachments and images
Put images and supporting files on a document, decide what prints on the PDF, and what your customer sees.
Documents can carry more than line items. Two kinds of files attach to any document:
- Images — jpeg, png, gif or webp. Product shots, signatures, the sketch that goes with the quote.
- Attachments — any supporting file, like a signed contract or a spec sheet.
What shows where
Each file has its own switches:
- Show on PDF — include it when the document is printed or downloaded.
- Show to customer — include it in what the customer sees on the shared page.
- Order — the sequence files appear in.
So the same document can carry an image your customer should see, an attachment only your team needs, and a photo that belongs in neither — by leaving both switches off.
