Your item list
Keep a list of the products and services you sell, with prices, and track stock on the products where quantities matter.
The item list is your catalogue of what you sell. Every entry carries a description and a rate, so picking an item on an invoice pulls the price through instead of you typing it again.
Add an item
Go to Products & services and add an entry with its name, description and price. Products and services live in the same list.
Tracked stock
Products can be stockable; services never are. For a stockable product, Spheyas tracks the quantity:
- Sending an invoice or debit note draws stock down.
- Receiving a bill or credit note puts stock back.
- If an outgoing document would take the quantity below zero, Spheyas blocks it rather than let the books go negative silently.
Stock moves at the moment the document posts — that is, when you Save & Send. Drafts never touch quantities.
